SUMMARY:Robin Simpson Memorial Walk - Saturday 1st October 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Robin Simpson Memorial Walk in aid of The Friends of The Royal Hospital Donnybrook is taking place in Glendalough on Saturday 1st October 2022 and we hope that you can join us.  Your support would be much appreciated.\nThe walks leave from the Visitor Car Park in Glendalough at 11.30 – sign in for those registered starts from 10.45. \nThere are 3 walks to choose from – one for every level of fitness: \n1.  EASY WALK:   \nLower Lake and Play Area – suitable for families with young children.  (Approx. 1 hour) \n2.  MODERATE WALK:   \nDerrybawn Woodland (Approx 2 hours) \n3.  CHALLENGING WALK:  \n Spink and Glenealo Valley (white route)  Hiking Boots essential.  Requires strong level of      fitness. (Approx 4 hours) \nWhen the walk is over\, please join us for sponsored light refreshments in the lovely Glendalough Hotel beside the Visitors Centre. \nIt is important to register in advance\, so we can plan for numbers.  To register and donate please click below.  There is an option to book a return seat on the coach leaving from RHD at 9.30 sharp and returns begin at 4.00pm (€15 per person).  You might want to consider this as car parking can be tight at the centre. \nIf you have any further queries about the walk please contact the organisers at robinmemorialwalk@gmail.com \nREGISTER & DONATE (click here)  \n  \n
